The Graduate Trainee will be given structured learning and workplace experience. Supply Chain & Logistics, Marketing, Finance, Law, HR or Industrial Psychology Degree or equivalent qualification.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Required to attend all training classes and meetings which give basic information about different functions of the company.
  • Will be required to work under the supervision of senior employees.
  • Will be required to do research work for the company and to document the trends within the various functions of the company such as; Customer Development, Marketing, Finance & Supply Chain.
  • Will be required to visit different working fields in order to get hands-on working experience.
  • Will be required to make presentations on the basis of which he or she may be evaluated.
  • Will be required to take various tests in order to determine his/her competence for working.
  • Will be required to keep records for the company and will be required to come up with new ideas for the improvement in the basic conditions of the different functions within the company.

Candidate Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Able to carry out all reasonable instructions from Supervisor
Washing of vehicles.
Offloading off vehicles at siding
Fuelling of Vehicles.
Loading of vehicles – when required
General tasks i.e.
Cleaning oil/Fuel spills on Site
Daily cleaning of Workshop/weighbridge area
General housekeeping of wash bay facility
Prepared to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Clean criminal record.

Qualifications and Experience:
Education and Experience

Grade 12 Literacy level or equivalent.
Able to read and write English and able to do simple calculations.

Skills and Knowledge:
Medically fit.
Reliable
Vehicle loading and offloading techniques
Work in a safe manner i.e. Ensure all safety requirements adhere to.

 

Job Duties/Responsibilities will include:
The successful candidate will perform various tasks. Applicant must be a quick learner.
Clean and prepare Job Site
Load and delivery Materials
The use of various tools and machines such as forklifts, Lifts, saws grinders, levels blowtorches, pressure washers, etc
Control Traffic
Setup markers, barricades, cones, and fag vehicles to control the flow of Traffic

Candidate Requirements/ Experience:

Grade 12

Minimum exp 1-3 years

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load; pack; wrap; label; ship)
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick; unload; label; store)
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
  • Complete diary logs into inventory
  • Report any discrepancies
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
  • Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures; rules and regulations
